Is my phone compatible with eSIM?

How do I install my eSIM?
Open the email we sent and scan the QR code. On iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code. On Android: Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM. It takes under a minute.
When should I install the eSIM?
Install it before you fly to Japan — at home on WiFi. The eSIM activates only when you connect to a Japanese network, so your timer starts on arrival, not on purchase.
How fast will I get my eSIM after I pay?

What happens after my daily data quota?
Unlimited Plans: Once you use your 1GB/day high-speed allowance, your connection speed will drop to 1Mbps in accordance with our Fair Usage Policy. This speed is still plenty for navigation apps, WhatsApp, music streaming, voice calls, and basic web browsing—you will never be fully disconnected until your plan expires.
Fixed Data Plans: You will have high-speed 4G/5G internet access until your data allowance is completely used. To avoid losing your connection, you can easily top up your data before it runs out or your eSIM expires.
Can I use my UnliSIM as a hotspot?
Yes. Tethering and hotspot are supported on all plans. Share your connection with a laptop or travel companion.
Can I keep my home SIM and phone number active?
Yes. Your UnliSIM works as a second line just for data, so your regular SIM stays active for your calls and texts. Just set UnliSIM as your data line.
Do I need a Japanese address or ID?

Can I extend my plan while in Japan?

What if my eSIM isn't connecting?
Most issues are fixed in two steps: (1) turn ON Data Roaming for your UnliSIM line, and (2) make sure UnliSIM is selected as your data line. Still stuck? Reply to your eSIM email or use the support button and we'll help fast.
What is your refund policy?
All eSIM sales are final. Because eSIMs are digital and delivered instantly, we can't refund for change of mind, device incompatibility, carrier locks, or setup errors.
